Last year I entered my pastel ‘I Have My Eye on You’ into its last competition before ‘retiring’ it from competitions. I forgot all about it and was thrilled to get an email a month ago from the Editor of International Artist Magazine telling me it had been short listed for its Wildlife themed competition. I was asked to submit a high res of the piece and a few days later received another email telling me it will be published in their Oct/Nov issue!
I have been blown away by the success of this one pastel. Once in awhile you do it right.
